ESEF taxonomy 2021 now EU law

As already expected in November 2021, the amendment of the Delegated Regulation will come too late for most companies to apply it in the current reporting season. In the Delegated Regulation of the European Union, the update was fixed on 7 March 2022.

Entry into force and application: [...] It shall apply from 1 January 2022 to annual financial reports containing financial statements for financial years beginning on or after 1 January 2022. [...]

Transitional provision: [...] this Regulation may be applied to annual financial reports containing financial statements for financial years beginning before 1 January 2022. [...]
